Wire mouse are in 9-pin serial port, 25-pin serial port and game port. Wire mouse are connected through electrical cables to the USB or PS/2. Wireless mouse is mostly used for laptop and notebook. It needs a wireless receiver to connect to the computer. It can connect either in Bluetooth or in RF (Range Frequency). Bluetooth has an interval of about 30 to 60 feet and RF has the frequency range is 15 to 30 feet. Some mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel in the middle for scrolling. Some of the mouse did not have the scroll wheel.
